| The Community Thrift Store opened in 2005 as a way to generate funds for the Scott County Community Clearinghouse. The store takes in new and gently used donations of household and clothing items for resale. All proceeds benefit the Clearinghouse. The store is currently staffed by Americorps volunteers and local volunteers from within the community.
Donations are accepted during business hours at both the Thrift Store and the Clearinghouse. Those donating large quantities are asked to drop their items at the Clearinghouse as there is more storage and sorting room. For more information on how you can help out the Clearinghouse, visit here.
The Thrift Store is always accepting volunteers. For information about volunteering at either the Thift Store or the Clearinghouse call 752-0123.
Thank you for your continued support of the Community Thrift Store. We couldn't do it without you!
